facilitated groups

Facilitated playgroups for dads provide a supportive and inclusive environment where fathers can bond with their children while connecting with other dads. These playgroups are more than just casual gatherings; they are structured and guided by experienced facilitators who understand the unique challenges and joys of fatherhood. Through a variety of engaging activities, dads learn valuable parenting skills, gain confidence in their caregiving abilities, and foster meaningful relationships with their children. These groups offer a safe space for dads to share their experiences, exchange parenting tips, and explore their roles as active and involved fathers. Ultimately, facilitated playgroups for dads create a community of support and camaraderie that enhances both the father-child relationship and the overall well-being of fathers and their families.

Bubs and pubs

Bubs & Pubs is more than just informational sessions; it is a lifeline for expectant dads in regional towns, offering education, support, and community in a relaxed environment. Here’s why this program is vital:

Offering Education: Bubs & Pubs provides comprehensive, evidence-based information on pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting. It covers everything from physical and emotional changes during pregnancy to labor, delivery, and practical newborn care skills. This knowledge equips dads to feel more prepared and confident in supporting their partners and caring for their newborns.

Providing Support: Expectant fathers often face unique challenges and uncertainties, especially in regional areas with limited resources. Bubs & Pubs creates a supportive environment where dads can discuss their fears, concerns, and experiences openly. This peer support network helps them share advice, gain reassurance, and build camaraderie, significantly reducing stress and isolation.

These include the way they talk, listen and play with their children, read together and how they engage them in interesting and stimulating activities. smalltalk also includes ideas on how parents can look after themselves and helps build links with their community and local services.
